Villdesign Co., Ltd. (ヴィルデザイン株式会社; hereinafter the “Company”) recognizes the protection of users’ personal information as an important responsibility and, in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the “APPI”) and related laws and regulations, establishes this Privacy Policy as set out below.

Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)

In this Policy, “personal information” means personal information as defined in the APPI, namely a name, telephone number, email address or other information by which a specific individual can be identified (including information that can be readily collated with other information and thereby enables the identification of a specific individual).

Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)

The Company may obtain personal information through its inquiry form, its document request form, email, telephone, the exchange of business cards and other means. When obtaining personal information, the Company will clearly indicate the purpose of use and obtain it by proper means.

The Company will use the personal information it collects for the following purposes:

• Providing services, and concluding and performing contracts
• Responding to inquiries
• Sending documents and quotations
• Sending information about our services and newsletters (where you have given your consent)

The Company will not provide personal information to any third party without the consent of the individual concerned, except in the following cases:

• Provision to contractors to which the Company entrusts business operations (subject to the conclusion of a confidentiality agreement)

Article 5 (Management of Personal Information)

The Company takes organizational, human, technical and physical security control measures to prevent the leakage, loss or damage of personal information and otherwise to ensure its secure management.

Article 6 (Disclosure, Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

When the individual concerned requests the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use or erasure of their personal information, the Company will respond within a reasonable period in accordance with laws and regulations. Please send such requests to the contact point below.

Article 7 (Cookies and Access Analysis Tools)

The Company’s website may use cookies and access analysis tools such as Google Analytics for the purpose of analyzing usage. These tools collect information such as IP addresses but do not collect information that identifies individuals. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Article 8 (Revisions to this Privacy Policy)

The Company may revise this Policy without prior notice due to amendments to laws and regulations, changes in its business or other reasons. The revised Policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
